Not so Typical Tuesday

Quick post to share some pictures from our day while Jaxton is at football, Bentley and Korbin watch Frozen, and Greyson naps!

Our newest little guy is still doing great. He sleeps a ton of course and is only up a few times at night to eat (*knock on wood*). The older boys still just adore him, which is super sweet to watch. When I got home with him today they were just as excited for their baby brother to be back home as they were me <3

We started out the morning with a quick first bath at home. Since he has been dirtying quite a few diapers and has so much greasy hair, I figured it was a good idea to clean up before going to the doctor. He didn't like it any more than he did the bath in the hospital, but once he was wrapped up and with mommy he was fine again!

It was pretty much a weight check and to see if he was getting very jaundice. He is at 6lbs 6oz (no idea what he left the hospital at to compare that to) and the doctor seemed content with that. He decided to draw blood to check bilirubin levels since he is clearly somewhat jaundice. Unfortunately his levels were 18.8, which is pretty high. We got orders to pick up a bili-blanket, which he is supposed to be in all of the time unless I want it off when feeding him. I am super thankful they didn't say they wanted him under the lights there or something, because that's what we had to do with Jax when his were high (they were only at 12 then too). So now he is hanging out with the bili-blanket on sleeping. I love snuggling him and the blanket is awkward so it sucks, but hopefully isn't needed for too long. We go back tomorrow to have blood drawn and hope the levels go down a little. I do have to say for him being so early and this being our only problem, I am definitely thankful that it is nothing more!
